It shall be mandatory upon each contractor to pay at minimum the current prevailing hourly rate of wages as set forth in the most current Wage Determination Orders of the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri for Taney County, Missouri as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. It shall be mandatory upon the successful bidder to provide a Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond before commencing work. Bonds must come from a surety company with an A+ best rating and licensed in all states. Bid Security Bond or certified bank draft will be required of each bidder at the close of bidding in the amount of five (5 %) percent of the total bid amount as set forth in the Instruction to Bidders. No Bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least sixty (60) days. Branson Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The owner is not liable for any cost incurred by the vendor in the preparation or production of its bid or for any work performed prior to the issuance of a valid contract under State Law.
