Asphalt Overlay Improvement - University City, MO Direct all questions to Errol Tate at etate@ucitymo.org Construction - 24% MBE, 9.5% WBE The intent of this project is to place asphalt concrete overlays on a street within University City, to include removal of asphalt surface by milling of the selected area. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and services necessary to construct a 2-1/2'" thick Type "C" asphalt overlay on all streets as indicated on the quantity sheet. Full or partial depth pavement repairs as identified by the City. The contractor shall also provide all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to construct milling of all areas indicated on the Location and Related Quantities Sheet. All roadway markings, striping, crosswalks, and traffic directional markings shall be restored. All manholes, grates, water, and gas valves shall be adjusted to grade in accordance with thespecifications and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. The cost for these manhole adjustments to grade shall be considered as incidental to the cost of the asphalt tonnage item listed on the quantity sheet of the Bid Form without any additional cost being charged to the City of University City. All manhole risers shall be the same as the MSD approved manhole risers included with the asphalt specifications section.
