PN - CYG20163 For Scott Creek Aerial Sewer Repair Project The successful Bidder shall agree to construct a new aerial sewer crossing that is in conformance with the attached construction plans. This project will include the replacement of two existing manholes, approximately 66 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch carrier pipe, approximately 44 LF of 20-in spiral wound steel casing pipe, two new concrete support piers, and connections to the existing piping. The Contractor shall submit all proposed materials to the Engineer for review prior to beginning construction. The Contractor shall be responsible for all erosion and sediment control measures, construction access, and obtaining any required permits. The Contractor shall be responsible for implementing and maintaining a bypass pumping operation for the duration of construction and shall submit the details of the bypass pumping plan to the Engineer for review and approval a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the desired date of implementation. Additional considerations during construction include: A Notice of Intent (NOI) under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program has not been filed for this project. The successful Bidder shall file their own NOI, when required.
