**As of 12/02/2021, the project has been rebid. General Contract Work Annual Contract for construction, reconstruction, and repair of vaults, penstocks, maintenance of grounds and for miscellaneous non-generating equipment repairs, installation of manholes, vaults, site work for installation or repairs of electric and/or steam casings, excavation of land around vaults, and water repairs to include installation of water lines. Prevailing Wage Rates apply. All bidders are required to submit a bid deposit in the amount of $10,000 which is equal to 5% of the estimated value of the annual contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Payment and Performance Bonds each in the amount of $100,000. No guarantee is to be made of magnitude of the work associated with this contract. Pursuant to MGL c.30 s.39M and under this Invitation for Bid (IFB), Holyoke Gas & Electric, hereinafter referred to as "Department", "Owner" or "HG&E", is procuring an annual contract for necessary repairs, to include the construction, installation, reconstruction and maintenance of dam apron, canal system, penstocks, tailraces, fishlift system, outdoor walkways, hydro gates, rubber dam bladder, and associated hydroelectric appurtenances directed by HG&E where required. Bidders are to provide bids inclusive of all equipment, material, and subcontractors required to successfully perform all work as specified herein.
