Project Location: Meridian Community College, 910 Highway 19 North, Meridian, Mississippi. 1. Selective demolition of existing first floor facilities of the L. O. Todd - Billy C. Beal Learning Resource Center on the Meridian Community College campus, and subsequent renovation and alterations of the existing library area for inclusion of the SOAR Center as indicated including Labs, Administrative Spaces, Breakroom, Conference Room and reconfiguration of existing Bathroom facilities as required for compliance with the 2010 Americans with Disability Act (ADA) as indicated in the Bid Documents including new finishes, plumbing fixtures and plumbing, lighting and other Work as indicated for a complete project. 2. Phasing: Due to lack of storage facilities on campus - the north section of the first floor level will be utilized to store stacks and other items to be reused until such time as the south section of the first floor level is Substantially Complete to complete the required work in the north section. Notice to Bidders: bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. Bids submitted in duplicate on form provided, accompanied by Bid Security in form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of no less than Five percent (5%) of Base Bid. Bids received on or before time and date stated for opening of Bids; no bid may be withdrawn after opening of bids for a period of 15 days.
