The Long County Board of Commissioners is requesting written qualifications from Design-Build firms to provide professional design, pre-construction services for the New Long County Jail. Submittal Format and Method of Selection Each proposal should contain the following information for review and consideration. The Long County Board of Commissioners may reject proposals that are substantially incomplete or lack key information and reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals. The design-build review committee shall review the qualifications of interested firms. Subsequently, the design-build review committee shall develop a shortlist of firms. The shortlist firms may or may not be invited to make presentations to the design-build review committee. The committee may elect to make a recommendation for award to the Long County Board of Commissioners based on submitted qualifications, pending thoroughness of submissions.
