Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a six-story above grade, 90-unit multi-residential development.

The complete Bid Form shall be without alterations, additions, or erasures. All bids shall be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid receipt without consent of Kraus-Anderson Construction Company. Kraus-Anderson Construction Company reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids. The project involves the construction of a new 90 unit, 6-story wood framed apartment building at 260 Portland Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55415. Construction start is anticipated for April of 2022. The project includes Small and Underutilized Business Participation (SUBP) contracting goals of 6% MBE and 6% WBE. Workforce employment goals of 20% Female and 32% Minority. Prevailing Wage Rates and submission of biweekly certified payroll reports into the City's reporting system is required on this project. All labor subcontractors with contracts exceeding $50,000 will be required to follow the City of Minneapolis Registered Apprenticeship Policy. All subcontractors and suppliers will be required to verify all payments received within the City's reporting system. Kraus-Anderson is a union contractor and has Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA's) with the carpenters, laborers, cement masons and operators unions. For this reason KA will not be able to award and contract with non-union bidders that are associated with these trades. Proof will need to be provided that the bidder is signatory to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. Bidders that are unable to provide such proof of union status shall not be considered responsible bidders. Earthwork, aggregate piers, sheet pile foundation walls, demolition and concrete scopes of work are not bidding at this time.
