As of October 3, 2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. It is anticipated bidding will commence late 2024 or early 2025 with construction following. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Village of Godfrey seeks the services of a highly qualified consulting firm to perform preliminary engineering, land acquisition, and construction engineering services for Phase 1 of the Tolle Lane Improvements Project. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is intended to comply with the Federal and State requirements of 23 CFR 172 and the Brooks Act. The Village has been successful with a Surface Transportation Program grant application to improve Tolle Lane from its intersection with Godfrey Road for a distance of approximately 1,380 feet. The evaluation criteria and weighting for this project is as follows: Technical approach - 30%, Firm experience - 30%, Past performance - 25%, and Work load capacity - 15%. The packet contains a detailed description of the project and specific requirements for the format and content of their submission. All submissions shall include a disclosure form and no interviews will be conducted. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
