Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Clinton County Board of Commissioners. Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. Electronic copies will be submitted with the bid. Originals will be required from the low bidder before award. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Clinton County reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The cost estimate with contingencies is one hundred twenty five thousand ($125,000) Dollars. Demolition and substantial completion must be completed by December 31, 2021. The final grading and seeding must be completed by April 1, 2022. Requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of contract price Demolitions shall include removal of all structures, out buildings, garages, removal of concrete slabs, building attachments, appurtenances, piping, electrical, metering and mechanical equipment, paving, service walks, driveways, fencing, and similar existing facilities. The use of explosives is not permitted on job site. Contractor must file the appropriate paperwork/notices to the OEPA/ODH prior to demolition start.
