The City of Humble is requesting bids for asbestos abatement and demolition. Three buildings owned by the City of Humble: Location #1 The Senior Activity Center - 1401 South Houston Avenue Humble, Texas 77338, Location #2 Dave's Antiques- 110 N. D Avenue Humble, Texas 77338, and Location #3 Old Humble Museum- 219 E. MAIN STREET Humble, Texas 77338. This project will consist of the abatement of items identified at each location followed by demolition as required at each of the three locations. Deadline for submitting written requests for clarifications will be Wednesday, November 05, 2021, at 5:00 PM Bid security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid. Upon consideration of the proposals, the City Council plans to award a Contract; however, the City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities and technicalities, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous to the City. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Consultant, the city, and their respective agents and/or employees arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond in an amount of 100% of the total contract price.
