The Wayne Township Municipal Authority is requesting proposals for all labor, material & equipment required for the repair / replacement of one (1) sanitary sewer pump station on Lundy's Lane in Wayne Township. The work will be performed under one (1) general contract. All responsible parties regularly engaged in the business of this nature, interested in submitting a bid to the Wayne Township Municipal Authorit 1. Install all required E&S measures, clearing and grubbing site as well as topsoiling, seeding and mulching all disturbed areas. 2. Complete all site excavation, fill, compaction, grading and the placement of the 8" of compacted 2A limestone subbase for the pad area and within the entire fenced in area. 3. Remove and replace all galvanized pipe encountered, which is estimated to be twelve feet (12'). 4. Provide and install six foot (6') fence, PVC wing slats (wind load and privacy factor of 90%) and 5' wide single swing gate as shown on the plans. 5. Remove everything within the existing wet well and provide and install new pumps, lift out base elbow, pump rails, PVC piping, discharge elbow, fittings, pressure transducer, high and low water backup floats, control wiring, stainless lift chain, stainless eye hook with kelium grip to hang all cables/cords/lift out chain and all supports and fasteners that are required inside the existing wet well. All pump cords and pressure transducer/float cable lengths shall account for the depth of the wet well to the NEMA 1/3R fiberglass junction box (Wet well depth plus 10'). 6. Remove everything within the existing dry well and provide and install new valves (check valves and ball/plug valves), flow meter and associated controls (ensure that flow meter can be tapped into SCADA system), interior piping, fittings and NEMA 1/3R fiberglass junction box. 7. Remove 1.25" force main between wet well and meter/valve vault and replace with 2" S80 PVC pipe. 8. Provide all approved conduit, cables and control wiring between the service distribution panel board, control building, wet well and meter/valve vault. 9. Construct 8'x8' commercial shed to house control paneling as well as pouring concrete pad for shed/generator. 10. Provide and install the generator, generator cooling air box, generator exhaust, automatic transfer switch, distribution panel, pump control panel, lighting, receptacles, switches and all conduit, cable, and control wiring as shown on the plans. 11. Provide adequate pumping capacity (bypass line) during the construction period. The method is to be of short duration and meet the approval of the engineer. 12. Coordinate all electrical work, so that it will be completed before final placement of limestone subbase and final restoration.
