Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Baytown, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a 6,750-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for paving for a water / sewer project.
The project Citizens Bank Renovation for Utility Services is located at 315 W Texas Ave. Baytown, TX 77520. Work includes but is not limited to, strategic demolition of the existing Citizens Bank Building and site and a new Utility Services building, with 6,300 sqft. of enclosed space in a single story, steel structure with brick masonry and metal panel exterior construction. The new structure will reuse Architecturally significant masonry from the front facade of the aforementioned building to be demolished. Also included is 450 sqft. of canopy covered outdoor space. The exterior sitework includes site paving and utilities. This will be a phased project, to include the construction of the new building and demolition of the existing facility and all other necessary appurtenances for a fully functioning facility as described in the proposal documents. The salvaged historic masonry, and other materials will be stored, preserved, and reinstalled on site. All work shall be done within the existing right-of-way for the unit prices or applicable prices set forth in Exhibit "A" of the Offerors Proposal.
