Renovation of an educational facility in Chesapeake, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project includes the removal and replacement of mechanical equipment, electrical power to the units, selective demolition, building finishes (flooring, base, and ceilings), structural steel modifications to accommodate mechanical equipment, selective removal, and replacement / connections to existing built-up roofing system associated with new rooftop equipment, and masonry exterior wall selective demolition and new masonry toothing relating to mechanical equipment A bidder's bond or certified check will be required in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. All visitors to a Chesapeake Public Schools' site are required to wear a face covering during the site visit. A face covering includes anything that covers your nose and mouth, such as a mask, scarf, or bandana. Chesapeake Public Schools reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or to reject any or all bids in whole or part when it is in the best interest of Chesapeake Public Schools.
