Site work for a water / sewer project in Horton, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project is generally described as follows: Project includes relocation of water mains with approximately 2870 LF of 8-inch PVC and ductile iron water main, 160 LF of 16-inch steel casing (Bored and Jacked), associated service transfers, valves, and flushing assemblies, tie-ins, and abandonment of existing mains. Project also includes an additive alternate bid which allows for the installation of 10-inch PVC and ductile iron water main in lieu of 8-inch PVC and ductile iron water main, installation of 18-inch steel casing (Bored and Jacked) in lieu of 16-inch steel casing (Bored and Jacked), and installation of fire hydrant assemblies in lieu of flushing assemblies. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's check in the amount of a sum no less than five (5) percent of the Bid Price but not more than $50,000.00.
