Renovation of an educational facility in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of 12/14/2021 The bids for this project were over budget. The bids have been rejected and the project has been postponed until further notice. In general the work consists of: Replacement of air handler AHU-A1 and its associated return fan, condensing unit and temperature controls. Electrical work will support disconnecting equipment to be demolished and powering new equipment. Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 16.855(10), Wisconsin Statutes, that the Division believes it is in the best interests of the State to contract the following work from only one source, without the usual statutory procedures: Work includes smoke detector fan shutdown for new air handling unit. The existing FACPn is a Faraday MPC-6000 located in room 7 at University Services. Fire alarm system - Northland Fire & Security, Inc The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsins 5 prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements 6 on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects 7 advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal 8 Davis Bacon Act requirements.
