As of August 4, 2022, a construction manager has been awarded for the project. Although a firm timeline has not been establihsed, construction is not expected to start prior to summer of 2022. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The District of Columbia ("District") Department of General Services (the "Department" or "DGS") on behalf of the District Department of Parks and Recreation ("DPR") is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to engage a Contractor ("Contractor") to serve as the Construction Manager at Risk ("CMAR" or "Contractor") for the construction of a new Anacostia Recreation Center at Ketcham, located at 1929 15th Street, SE Construction Washington, DC 20020 (the "ARC" or the "Project"). Offerors are to base their Proposals ("Proposals") on the District's construction costs funding limitation for the Project. The Department has an approved construction budget of $9,266,323.53 for this Project. The Department's sole point of contact ("POC") for matters related to this RFP is the only individual authorized to discuss this RFP with any interested parties, including Offerors.
