Belton Low Service Water Pump Station Improvements project, including all related appurtenances. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. All sealed bids shall be labeled with Belton Low Service Water Pump Station Improvements. The Work consists of furnishing and installing the Belton Low Service Water Pump Station including two new 350 HP vertical turbine pumps; extension of the existing 72-in diameter welded steel finished water suction pipeline; extension of 72-in diameter welded steel pipe casing pipe; piping, valves, HVAC, electrical and instrumentation and controls work, site work; concrete paving; and all other work as specified herein and as shown on the Drawings A cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable Bid Bond, payable to the order of the Bell County WCID No. 1, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the Maximum Amount Bid must accompany each Bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will promptly enter into the Contract and execute forms contained in the Project Documents within seven (7) days after the Notice of Award. The Bell County WCID No. 1 reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any nonconforming Bid and to award the Contract in a period of time not exceeding ninety (90) days from the Bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm for that period.
