Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

It is the intent of The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) to solicit quotes to provide repairs and paint the Silver Crescent in accordance with all requirements and specifications stated herein. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, Marine Resources Division is seeking bids to haul, clean, paint, and repair the R/V Silver Crescent. This is a 40 gross ton vessel, 52' LOA x 17' beam x 5' draft, fiberglass hull, constructed in 2005. The vendor awarded this contract must be within 90 vehicle miles of the vessel's home port at 217 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC. SCDNR will deliver the vessel to your facility and will pick it up upon completion. SCDNR personal will examine the yard work progress several times per week. Contractor will be held responsible for any damages incurred to vessel during haul and launch process and while in yard for repairs and repainting. Payment will be made upon 100% completion and approval of work. Yard time is critical to scheduling of vessel operations. Time for the work to occur is December 20, 2021 - March 15th 2022. Work Must be completed by March 15th, 2022.
