Renovation of a water / sewer project in Kewanee, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of the replacement of existing valves within the Stormwater Pump Station at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Each separate bid will be required to remain open for a period of 60 days after bids are opened. Such checks or bid bond will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders within ten days after the opening of bids, and the remaining cash, checks or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted bidder have executed the contract. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the rights to reject all Bids, to reject any non-responsive Bid, and to determine the low, responsive, responsible Bid.
