Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Red Wing, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Bridge Repair Location: Br. 25530 on CSAH 7: 2.8 miles North of the junction of CSAH 7 and TH 19 Type of Work: Pier Piling Repair Location: Br. 25541 on CSAH 9: 0.3 miles West of the junction of CSAH 9 and CSAH 14 Type of Work: Deck Drain Repair 1. Contact Cory Wersal (651-764-0029) at Goodhue County with questions. 2. The contractor must provide Goodhue County with a minimum of 2 weeks notice prior to beginning the work. 3. Bridge 25530 shall be closed to traffic during repairs and a detour approved by Goodhue County shall be posted during construction. Detour and construction shall not last more than 2 weeks. 4. In-place deck drains on Bridge 25541 are 6" x 6" O.D. and shall be extended by up to 1' 6". Extensions shall include cutting, welding, and painting (including prep work to new and any existing elements salvaged). Paint shall be brown in color to match the in-place bridge elements. 5. Traffic control shall be considered incidental to all work and shall conform to the latest version of the Minnesota Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, including the Field Manual for Temporary Traffic Control Zone Layouts. 6. All work necessary to complete the bridge repair work shall be reflected in the unit bid prices and no further compensation shall be due the Contractor. 7.
