The work specified in this contract of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to furnish and install new sign assemblies, sign panels (9' W x 4.5' H), and posts located on Florida's Turnpike from Milepost (MP) 64.2 to MP 301 The Department's objective is to have signage on the state's most traveled roadways to promote Florida Orange Juice and Florida Grapefruit. For this contract, a period of 45 calendar days will be allowed after the notice to proceed is issued. This period allows time for the Contractor to adjust work forces, equipment, schedules, and the procurement of materials, to proceed in a manner to minimize disruption to the public. Charging of Contract Time will begin when this period ends or on the actual day that work begins at the site, whichever is the earlier.
