Site work including new pavement is required. 3. Demolition of an existing building is required. This building contains hazardous materials to be abated. Allowance No. 1: Remove Unsuitable Soils: 1. Description: Remove and disposal off-site and replace of unsuitable soils in building pad or parking areas, excluding that required for footings, foundations, and utility trenches, as directed by the architect. Suitable fill material includes compacted sand fill as specified in Section 312000 "Earth Moving." Material, labor to remove, dispose, and install, fill materials, supervision, overhead and profit, delivery charges, etc., are to be included in the Base Bid. Final quantities necessary for the project will be based on actual quantities determined by the Owner's testing agency and confirm by Designers. Adjustments made based on the final quantities shall be per Unit Price #1. 2. Base Bid Quantity to be included in Base Bid: 350 CY Allowance No. 2: Remove Unsuitable Soils (#57 Stone): 1.
