Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The selected firm will assist the City to hire a Construction Manager for the construction portion of this project. Selected architect will provide all phases of design and construction administration services for renovations for both Fire Stations #1 and #4. Renovations to Fire Station #1 is anticipated to include reconfiguration and changes to the existing training room, deacon area, shop area, sleeping quarters, restroom facilities, locker room, kitchen/dining area, offices, exercise room, and common/living room area.
