Renovation of an educational facility in Hutto, Texas. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Texas State Technical College ("TSTC") is requesting qualifications from Architectural firms for Pre-Design Services for multiple projects on multiple TSTC Campuses. On October 25th, 2021 the Governor signed Senate Bill 52 which authorized TSTC to sell bonds in the amount $208,500,000 for capital construction projects, with the effective date of January 18, 2022. Proceeds may be used to acquire, purchase, construct, improve, renovate, enlarge or equip property and facilities, including roads and related infrastructure. TSTC may expend these funds on the following campuses: East Williamson County Higher Education Center (Hutto TX.), Fort Bend County Campus (Rosenberg TX.), Harlingen Campus, Marshall Campus, North Texas Campus (Red Oak TX.), West Texas (Abilene TX.) and the Waco Campus. As of October 2, 2023, the method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
