**This project has been awarded to Haven Boatworks, LLC in that amount of $27,847** The Work consists of removing the existing generator and replacing it with a Customer Supplied Northern Lights Marine Generator, prep and paint vessel hull, clean and decommission the forward fuel tanks, replace port sea chest valve, and repair damaged framing and side shell in the starboard bow. All work must be complete between the end of day December 24th and January 2nd . **As a reminder, Kitsap Transit follows the TSA guidelines around masks and social distancing. At this time, anyone on public transportation property must wear a face covering regardless of vaccination status.** While attendance is not mandatory, Bidders are encouraged to attend. This meeting will provide prospective Bidders an opportunity to seek clarification and raise concerns related to the Solicitation. This meeting will also provide an opportunity to view current conditions at the location. Pre-Bid Questions: All questions, requests for information, and Pre-Bid material substitutions, must be submitted in writing by 5:00 PM November 19, 2021 via e-mail: patrickr@kitsaptransit.com. Time for Completion: The Contractor shall commence the Work under this Contract effective upon receipt of a written Notice to Proceed and shall continue in good faith and effort to Final Completion status within the period of performance. Bid Security: Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Security Bond made only on the Owner-provided form for a sum equal to 5% of the Total Bid Amount.
