Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Saint Marys City, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of May 2, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded and construction is underway. No further inquiries to be accepted. This project, located in St. Mary's County, is for the construction f a shared-use path parallel to MD 5 (Point Lookout Road). Beginning north of Wherrit's Pond and extending in a southerly direction to St. John's Pond for a total distance of 0.417 miles. The St. Mary's College of Maryland Pedestrians and Bicycle Trail Project will provide the following improvements: a. ADA compliant and bicycle compatible shared-use path parallel to MD 5 on St. Mary's College of Maryland's campus b. ADA compliant curb ramps at all intersecting roadways c. ADA compliant brick sidewalks d. Timber boardwalk over Wherritts Pond e. Combination curb and gutter f. Improvements to existing storm drain network g. SWM and Erosion and Sediment Control h. Landscaping i. Signing, Lighting and new Pavement Markings. Project Cost Class D - $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
