Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Palm Springs, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 20,580-square-foot, 80-unit elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.

Modular Units Requests for Information (RFI's): Requests for information for this project is due by 5:00 pm, December 23, 2022. Bidders are required to indicate the project name in the title of your request submission. Submit all requests for information to Daniel Orona dorona@tilden-coil.com Contractor License: Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to perform the work noted herein. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active license in the Trade of Work as designated in the Trade Contractor Scope of Work and must be properly licensed at the time of award and throughout the duration of this Contract. The Contractor's California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder's proposal. DIR Registration: This Project is a public works project as defined in Labor Code section 1720. All subcontractors (of any tier) bidding on this Project or performing any portion of the Work must comply with the Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 and must be properly and currently registered with DIR and qualified to perform public works pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 throughout the duration of the Project. For more information and up to date requirements, contractors are recommended to periodically review the DIR's website at www.dir.ca.gov. All subcontractors (of any tier) shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with Labor Code section 1725.5 as well as any requirements implemented by DIR applicable to its services or its subcontractors throughout the term of the Agreement and in no event shall contractor be granted increased payment or any time extensions to complete the Project as a result of contractor's efforts to maintain compliance with the Labor Code or any requirements implemented by the DIR. Failure to comply with these requirements shall be deemed a material breach of Agreement and grounds for termination for cause. All subcontractors (of any tier) shall furnish certified payroll records as required pursuant Labor Code section 1776 directly to the Labor Commissioner in accordance with Labor Code section 1771.4 on at least on a monthly basis (or more frequently if required by Tilden-Coil Constructors or the Labor Commissioner) and in a format prescribed by the Labor Commissioner. Tilden-Coil Constructors reserves the right to withhold contract payments if Tilden-Coil Constructors is notified, or determines as the result of its own investigation, that a Subcontractor is in violation of any of the requirements set forth in Labor Code section 1720 et seq. at no penalty or cost to Tilden-Coil Constructors or the District. Monitoring and enforcement of the prevailing wage laws and related requirements will be performed by the Labor Commissioner/ Department of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). Project Labor Agreement: The Work is subject to the City's Community Workforce Agreement dated August 31, 2021 ("CWA" or "Project Labor Agreement" or "PLA"), a copy of which is included in the bid documents. The Contractor will be required to agree to the provisions set forth in the Agreement. Federal Provisions: The Project will be funded in whole or in part by the following funding source in addition to City funds: Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, a part of the American Rescue Plan Act ("APRA"). The Contractor shall comply with all state and federal requirements including, but not limited to, 2 C.F.R. Part 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Additionally, shall be subject to 2 CFR § 200.321 and will take affirmative steps to assure that minority firms, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religious creed, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award
