**As of February 22, 2022 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Effluent Filter, Aeration Diffuser and Digester Improvements Each proposal must be accompanied an acceptable bid bond payable without recourse to the City of Denton, Texas in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal submitted as guarantee that the proposer will enter into a contract and execute a performance bond, a payment bond and insurance certificate within ten (10) days after the notification of the award. The City of Denton, Texas reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive defects in bids. Question Cutoff Date 12/28/2021 05:00:00 PM (ET) The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: - Installation of three cloth effluent filters; demolition of four sand traveling bridge filters; new aeration diffusors in eight aeration basins; replacement of 85-foot diameter digester steel gas holder cover; replacement of digested sludge plug valves; cleaning of two anaerobic digester with associated structural, electrical and instrumentation work.
