Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Annapolis, Maryland. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for the construction of a 200,000-square-foot, five-story above grade parking garage; for the renovation of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The first phase of this project is the demolition and replacement of the existing Hillman Garage. The new garage will be a 5-level, 200,000 SF cast-in-place concrete structure, equipped with exterior brick veneer and aluminum screening accents, two stair/elevator towers, LED lighting, SWM structures, and landscape/hardscape improvements. The second phase of the project will be the renovation of the City Dock area which includes converting a portion of the existing surface parking lot to an elevated green park that will also provide flood protection measures for this vulnerable, low-lying area. The project also includes a new waterfront promenade as well as a new pump station to improve storm drainage for this downtown area. Construction Start: January/February 2022 Expected Completion: May/June 2024
