Reference Number 0000273525 Questions are submitted online No Single Family Home Demolition 5150 Gilman & 29825 Bock The City of Garden City is issuing a Request for Proposal/Bids (RFP) for the demolition of two single family homes and all accessory structures (sheds, garages, decks, patios, etc). This is to include the removal of the foundation, retiring and capping all utilities (gas, water, sewer, cable, phone). The backfilling of the excavated holes and the removal of driveways and service walkways. The lot shall be properly graded, restored and grass seeded. SCOPE OF SERVICES The City of Garden City has issued this Request for Proposals/Bids for demolition of : 6150 Gilman Street, Garden City - #35-011-04-0278-000 Lots 278 and 279 McFarlane Brothers Rainbow Gardens Sub No. 1 A single family structure with garage. The demolition will also include the removal of all evergreen cedars along the north property line, the east/west fence to remain, the removal of all scrub trees, fruit bearing trees, dead trees and maintaining of any specimen trees. After the contract is awarded, the City shall meet regarding the fencelines and specimen trees. Vehicle in yard to be impounded by Police Department. 29825 Bock, Garden City - #35-016-02-0220-000 Lot 220 Folkers Garden City Acres Sub No. 1 A single family structure with shed. The demolition will also include the removal of all scrub trees, fruit bearing trees, dead trees and maintaining of any specimen trees. After the contract is awarded, the City shall meet regarding the fencelines and specimen trees. The City of Garden City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals not judged to be in the best interest of the City. Bidders must bid on BOTH properties.
