The work involves pipe bursting approximately 8,054 L.F. of 8-inch, 405 L.F. of 10-inch and 472 L.F. of 10" through 15-inch diameter sewer mains, along with manholes, services, and other related work. Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. This Project involves pipe bursting approximately 1,685 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sewer mains, 472 L.F of 10" thru 15" sewer main, along with manholes, services, and other related work. The Project is located at various areas of North Boise within Boise City limits. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the Bid and shall conform to all local, State, and Federal requirements. This Project shall also conform to the requirements of the 2020 Edition of the Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction (ISPWC), the Plans, these Special Provisions, and the Ada County Highway District Standards. The plan sheets were generated using topographic survey and aerial photography. Contractor shall field verify topographic features prior to submitting a bid for this Project. The Work shall be substantially completed within 150 DAYS after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 2.03 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 165 DAYS after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
