The project involves the implementation of remedial activities at the Cross-County Sanitary/Kessman Landfill site, located at 286 Cornwall Hill Road, Patterson, New York. These activities include, but are not necessarily limited to: control and removal of standing water; excavation/dredging of PCB contaminated sediment; sediment dewatering; water handling, treatment, and discharge; transport and disposal of solidified sediment; wetland restoration and planting; and overall site restoration. Proposals will be accepted only from bidders who attend the Pre-Bid Conference. All proposals must be made on the official proposal form(s) and enclosed in the envelope which will be provided by the Department at the Pre-Bid Conference. Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit or a bid bond in the amount of five-percent (5%) of Proposer's bid amount. Minority-, Women-, and Service-Disabled Veteran-owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids in response to this solicitation.
