Renovation of a multi-residential development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

**As of 1/31/2022 Project has no awards yet , no timeframe. Installation of vinyl-composition floor tile over existing floor tile. Installation of vinyl-composition floor tile over the existing properly prepared concrete floor. The removal and replacement of existing/or missing vinyl cove base molding (See Section VIII). As directed, remove Non-Asbestos Containing floor coverings, including but not limited to vinyl composition floor tile, linoleum, self-adhesive floor tile, carpet, ceramic floor tile, wood flooring, etc. The work as described above shall be performed in occupied and unoccupied (move-out) apartments as designated by the Development Superintendent. The contractor will be required to perform this work in complete apartments or complete individual/rooms within apartments. However, the contractor will not be required to do a portion of a room. The work will be done in any apartment or in any individual room of any apartment in any of the various buildings of the Development(s) as listed in the Form of Proposal. The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and all other incidental items necessary and required to perform the subject work as follows: 1. Installation of vinyl-composition floor tile over existing floor tile. 2. Installation of vinyl-composition floor tile over the existing properly prepared concrete floor. 3. The removal and replacement of existing/or missing vinyl cove base molding (See Section VIII). 4. As directed, remove Non-Asbestos Containing floor coverings, including but not limited to vinyl composition floor tile, linoleum, self-adhesive floor tile, carpet, ceramic floor tile, wood flooring, etc. The work as described above shall be performed in occupied and unoccupied ("move-out") apartments as designated by the Development Superintendent. The contractor will be required to perform this work in complete apartments or complete individual/rooms within apartments. However, the contractor will not be required to do a portion of a room. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following items of work are included in this Contract: 1. Furnishing and installing new vinyl-composition floor tile over the existing floor tile. 2. Furnishing and installing new vinyl-composition floor tile over the existing properly prepared concrete floor. 3. Removal of existing floor tile, furnishing and installation of new vinyl-composition floor tile over the existing properly prepared concrete floor. 4. Moving and replacement of all furniture, stoves, refrigerator and other appliances, if any, as required to properly complete the subject work. 5. Patching of the resilient and/or concrete floor as required to properly install the vinylcomposition floor tile. All employees of the Contractor and of its subcontractors on any contract with NYCHA must, at all times while on the job site, have and produce on demand photo identifications bearing the employee's name and the name of the firm or entity by which the employee is employed. However, during the first five (5) business days after any such employee's initial hire, he/she may instead carry and produce on demand other official photo identification acceptable to NYCHA (such as a driver's license or passport). 1. Each full vinyl-composition tile must be 12" x 12" x 3/32" and must conform to Standard Specification F1066-99 Class 2, as designated by The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). 2. The vinyl-composition tile must have a through-chip styling with the mottling pattern integral throughout the full thickness of the tile. 3. Color(s) will be selected in accordance with Section VI of these Specifications. 4. The adhesive must be water resistant adhesive as recommended by the manufacturer of the tile and must be delivered in sealed containers and used without the addition of any unauthorized material.
