The purpose of this Bid is to secure a firm price for the purchase and installation of approximately 7,300 feet of perimeter fence at the West Port Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) located at 15005 Cattle Dock Point Road in accordance with the specifications herein. Estimated Budget is $1,905,000. The Local license(s) required to perform the services for this project are: Certified/Registered General, Certified/Registered Building or Local Fence. Installation of perimeter fence at the West Port WRF to include, but not limited to: o Field measurements Verify layout information for fences and gates Verify dimensions by field measurements Review layout with County representative prior to commencing installation o Purchase and installation of approximately 7,300 feet of perimeter security fence Fencing shall comply with all applicable sections of the following Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) 32 31 13, Chain Links Fences and Gates UFGS 32 31 13.53, High-Security Chain Link Fences and Gates Consult with the following for additional guidance: o ASTM F2611 o ASTM F1712 o Chain Link Manufacturers Institute Security Fencing Recommendations (CLFSFR0111) and Product Manual (CLF0PM0610) o Fence location: Security fence to be located at the West Port WRF, 15005 Cattle Dock Point Road Fencing to encompass the West Port WRF along the inside of the existing moat There will be approximately 35 stretches of fence Fencing to connect to each side of the existing main gate Land to be cleared on each side of fence 10 feet (10') of clearance on the outside of the fence 20 feet (20') of clearance on the inside of the fence All cleared debris to be removed from site to an appropriate disposal facility
