The project is located adjacent to West Virginia State Route 7 along Decker's Creek. The work to be completed at this site include: Installation of Temporary Erosion and Sediment Measures; Clearing and Grubbing of Project Area; Excavation of Natural Soils; Installation of the AMD treatment facility; The treatment facility will focus on treating an AMD source from the closed Richard Mine that flows directly into Decker's Creek. This AMD source has degraded the lower five miles of the stream. After the AMD has been treated it will be discharged back into Decker's Creek. Revegetation of Disturbed Areas. This project includes an approximate 2.77 acre site.
