Site work for a water / sewer project in Brookhaven, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A bond in which a third party agrees to be liable to pay a certain amount of money in the event a selected bidder fails to accept the contract as bid. This bond should be five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The Department will provide the awarded contract to the successful bidder via electronic mail. DEP Procurement (304) 926-0480 This project is located in Monongalia County, West Virginia near the community of Brookhaven. The project is located adjacent to West Virginia State Route 7 along Decker's Creek. The work to be completed at this site include: Installation of Temporary Erosion and Sediment Measures; Clearing and Grubbing of Project Area; Excavation of Natural Soils; Installation of the AMD treatment facility; The treatment facility will focus on treating an AMD source from the closed Richard Mine that flows directly into Decker's Creek. This AMD source has degraded the lower five miles of the stream. After the AMD has been treated it will be discharged back into Decker's Creek. Revegetation of Disturbed Areas. This project includes an approximate 2.77 acre site.
