Each bidder is encouraged to visit the site to review field conditions prior to submitting a bid. This project scope includes the replacement of the sanitary line at the existing Estill County High School building. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of each proposal submitted must accompany each Proposal in accordance with the Form of Proposal. The successful bidder must supply a 100% Performance and Payment Bond as outlined in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner or to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the Contract Documents. The Owner's desire to waive irregularities and informalities as to a bid shall be reviewed and final judgement made by the Kentucky Department of Education, Division of Facilities Management, prior to approval of the contract and financing plan. This project scope includes the replacement of the sanitary line at the existing Estill County High School building. For the REBID of this project, the scope has been altered to remove the asphalt work, grading of the subgrade, and concrete patching.
