Plans call for the construction of a new housing tower and multiple additions/renovations. o Area 1 - Bonds/Visitation/Court Additions and Renovations (Approximately 4,200 SF Additions, 9,500 SF Renovations) o Area 2 - 2-Story Administration and Intake Additions (Approximately 15,300 SF and 900 SF Additions) o Area 3 - Medical Addition and Renovations (Approximately 11,000 SF Additions, 10,400 SF Renovations) o Area 4 - Kitchen Renovations (Approximately 7,700 SF) o Areas 5-7 Existing Jail Modifications (The work in these sections is in Alternates 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) o Area 8 - Existing Corridor Link (Alternate 2 security electronics upgrades only) o Area 10 - Multi-Story Inmate Housing Tower (Approximately 150,000 SF Elevated Concrete Structure) *Please note all furnished precast inmate cells, precast concrete wall panels, detention equipment/security electronics scopes have already been secured and are NOT being solicited as part of this package. There are six (6) bid ALTERNATES as follows: Alt 1 - Add two new chillers to remove the existing jail load off the Justice Center chillers Alt 2 - Add alternate to retrofit the existing electronic security system and add new electronic security system devices in existing areas (Area 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8) per documents and provide one (1) electronic security system that will fully integrate existing system and new electronic security system, including any other ancillary support. (conduit, data, ceiling/wall patch repair, etc.) Alt 3 - Add alternate to retrofit and renovate existing gang restrooms / showers located in Areas 5, 6, and 7 as shown on the documents. This work includes repainting of walls, recoat shower floor/walls/ceilings with new seamless shower system, replace all plumbing fixtures, install epoxy curbs at showers, install new epoxy floor/base, replace supply/exhaust grilles, add linear trench drains, replace lights, detention caulking at plumbing/lighting fixtures, and replace fire suppression heads. In addition to the work described above, this alternate also includes addition of new electronic valves and Sloan Programmed Water Technologies system for all penal plumbing fixtures located in Areas 2, 5, 6, and 7. Alt 4 - Add alternate to replace existing light fixtures at Areas 5, 6, and 7. Include all related detention caulking. This alternate does not include the light fixtures replaced as part of Alternate 3 (gang restrooms / showers). Alt 5 - Add alternate to repaint the existing jail housing (Areas 5, 6 and 7). This alternate does not include the repainting as part of Alternate 3 (gang restrooms / showers). Alt 6 - Add additional camera at Housing Tower cells beyond TCJS requirement. Includes all conduit, devises, equipment, and cabling. **Section 01 0001 BID FORM AND ALTERNATES provides a bid form to be utilized by all bidders. This form may be supplemented with each bidder's standard bid forms with any specific inclusions/exclusions but MUST be submitted with each proposal. The following documents are not currently found within the Project Manual but are provided under the "Other Documents" tab on iSqFt. Geotechnical Report, 004000-Criminal History Information Form and Release Information, and 009000-Hoisting Exhibit 2 (Tower Crane Foundation Design).
