The Cromwell Board of Education is seeking bids, from qualified contractors, for the renovation of the existing classroom Kitchen at Cromwell High School, 1 Donald Harris Drive, Cromwell, CT. The contractor shall supply all labor (prevailing wage), materials, and equipment (excluding equipment listed in kitchen equipment drawings) to perform the complete construction and/or renovation of the existing education kitchen and foods classroom, located at Cromwell High School, including all mechanical, electrical and plumbing materials necessary for connections to kitchen equipment and including but not limited to the following requirements: Surface Preparation: Thoroughly prepare floors, walls, ceilings to receive finishes per drawings Construction: Prepare structure to accept new roof and ceiling options to include any mechanical, plumbing and electrical requirements per drawings. Kittredge Equipment will be furnishing and installing all the equipment including the exhaust hood, roof mounted MAU, fan and ductwork and has roof curbs Completion of Work: Complete all work necessary to provide Owner with a complete turnkey project. A construction schedule is required to be submitted with the bid. It is the intent of the Cromwell Board of Education to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder no later than April 25 th , 2022. All work must be complete no later than August 26 th , 2022
