As of October 13, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Hillsborough County requires an experienced and qualified Contractor to replace a segment of the gravity collection system on West Burke Street for the Water Resources Department. The project includes the abandonment of approximately 920LF of existing eight (8) inch, buried vitrified clay pipe (VCP), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe; the installation of approximately 1,000 LF of buried eight (8) inch PVC pipe, and four (4) 48 inch manholes; the replacement/installation of four (4) inch sanitary laterals with clean-outs; and the removal of two (2) existing manholes. In accordance with Hillsborough County Ordinance No. 21-17 (Construction Apprenticeship Program), the requirements and resulting contact requires at least 12% of the Labor Hours for Apprentices. Scope Hillsborough County requires an experienced and qualified Contractor to replace a segment of the gravity collection system on West Burke Street for the Water Resources Department.
