CSA Job #21-11) Treatment Improvements for the Removal of 1,4 Dioxane, East Meadow Wells 5 and 11 - General Construction Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than 5% of the estimated amount of the bid. Federal Equal Opportunity and Labor Standards are applicable for all work performed under this contract. The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any or all bids. During the period of October 1,2022 and April 1, 2023, Item Nos. 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 shall be performed, as well as all work required to switch Well No. 5 over to the newly proposed power shall be performed. Interior building walls, ceiling, and finishes, grating. 11. Surface preparation and coating of structural steel, walls, and other items as noted. 12. Install epoxy floor coating system. 13. Site restoration including final grading and placement of topsoil and seeding. 14. Asphalt removal new paving of driveway areas. 15. New asphalt paving. 16. New sidewalks and concrete curbing. 17. Miscellaneous work at existing Well Nos. 5 and 11 Buildings, as noted on the plans. 18. Startup participation for the various HVAC equipment and systems of the project and provide complete service to troubleshoot and assist manufacturer service representatives in obtaining a completely functional installation. 19. Project closeout submittals The Contractor shall make the new water main connection from the existing Well No. 5 discharge to the new AOP/GAC Treatment Building to allow for startup and sampling of the new Well No. 5 treatment train, but shall not demolish existing water main/valving until the new AOP/GAC treatment system is approved and placed back into service
