Estimated cost: $300,000 and $400,000 Furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services for the Old Portland Road Sidewalk Infill project (Project) for the City of Scappoose (City)The Work to be done under this Contract consists of pedestrian and stormwater improvements to Old Portland Road between Dutch Canyon Road and US30. The Work includes:Sidewalk, ADA Ramps, Curb and Gutter, Pavement Patching.Stormwater Drainage, Sanitary Sewer. Anticipated Notice of Intent to Award: Monday, December 6, 2021.Desired Final Completion: Friday, May 13, 2022. The City reserves the right to make changes to the Invitation to Bid and the resulting contract via written addenda, prior to the bid submission deadline.The City of Scappoose reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interests of the City of Scappoose. The City of Scappoose may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the City it is in the public interest to do so. The City will not mail notice of addenda but shall publish notice electronically. Proposals must be submitted on the prescribed forms and must be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond executed in favor of the City of Scappoose in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of Bidder's maximum Bid price (including all optional work items). The successful bidder will be required to furnish to the City of Scappoose a performance bond and a payment bond each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid with the selected (if any) optional work items as determined by the City.
