As of 1/19/2022 all bids are rejected and planning for a rebid. No rebid date yet. Reconstruction of 115 feet of local street including concrete valley gutter, grading for 250 feet of drainage channel with 2,500 sf retention basin, installation of drywell and channel underdrain system, installation of three catch basins in existing streets, restoration of existing lawn and irrigation system. All questions shall be in writing and directed to Woody Scoutten at wscoutten@litchfield-park.org. The Bidder is responsible for obtaining all Addenda either through updates on the City website or by contacting Woody Scoutten at (623) 889-6208.
Each bidder's proposal shall be made on the form furnished in the Contract Documents. Contract Documents, with completed Bid Proposal, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, together with a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total base bid, Addressed to: City Clerk City of Litchfield Park 214 W. Wigwam Blvd. Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 The successful Bidder will be determined on the basis of the lowest responsive and responsible Proposal. The City of Litchfield Park reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive any informalities, or irregularities in the Proposals received, and to accept the Proposal which in its sole judgment best serves the interests of the City. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish two (2) bonds. One (1) bond shall be a Performance Bond in a sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price including any additions to the Contract. The Bond shall be effective throughout the construction period, including a one (1) year warranty period. The successful Bidder shall also furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, to become effective upon award.
