Key Construction, Construction Manager for Union Public Schools is soliciting Sealed Bids for Union Public Schools Golf Practice Facility. The bidding process will be in compliance with the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid if the bid equals or exceeds $50,000. By this notice, all provisions of the act apply to this project and are incorporated into notice by reference. Upon receipt of an acceptable bid, the contract will be awarded within thirty days after the opening of bids and the written contract executed within ten days thereafter. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or minor irregularities in any bid. The total construction budget for the project is one million dollars to include all construction expenses, FF&E, construction management fees, project requirements, project contingencies, and allowances. The finished product will consist of converting a weight room into an indoor practice facility. The scope of construction work will include flooring and turf, drywall, electrical lighting and receptacles, and painting; limited mechanical, specialty golf simulation equipment. This phase of the Project must be completed by March 15, 2022. Deadline for all questions concerning this specific Bid Phase is the close of business day on December 2nd, 2021
