Site work and renovation of a civil project in Arlington, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Rehabilitation of the existing four (4) cell concrete gravity filter to include: a. Replacement of existing filter media b. Replacement of existing filter underdrain nozzles c. Surface preparation and painting of interior concrete filter cells d. Replacement of existing valves 2. Furnish and install new air wash blower. 3. Furnish and install new duplex air compressor. 4. Furnish and install new chemical feed systems for chlorine gas, fluoride, polyphosphate, sodium permanganate and other miscellaneous chemical feed improvements. 5. Replacement of process valves, actuators, and flow meters. 6. Miscellaneous electrical, controls, and HVAC improvements. 7. Surface preparation and painting of existing process piping, tanks, and interior building components. 8. Replacement of two (2) submersible backwash waste pumps. 9. Miscellaneous demolition work associated with the rehabilitation work described above. Together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be complete by 350 calendar days. A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Arlington, Minnesota shall accompany each bid. The Bidder shall have experience as a General Contractor in the successful completion of at least two (2) municipal water treatment plants within the last five (5) years. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of the Contract. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Engineer/Manager of the project.
