Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Long Beach Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 7,615-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.

The project includes demolition of an existing 7,615 SF 2-story commercial building of masonry and wood frame construction on concrete slab including associated concrete sidewalk/slabs, asphalt parking lot, asbestos containing siding and roofing, DGA fill and stone stabilization required. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same at the Township Finance Office. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Township of Long Beach reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. If a Fed EX or UPS account is not available and they have to be mailed, an additional payment of $30.00 will be required and that check must be made payable to Owen, Little & Associates, Inc. Official documents must be purchased from Owen, Little & Associates for Bid Submission. No downloaded documents will be accepted as we cannot guarantee accuracy. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Long Beach in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Township of Long Beach hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Township further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Township.
