Required Vendor Qualifications DRUG FREE , SCRUTINZED, PUBLIC ENTITY CRIME STATEMENT, NON-COLLUSIVE AFFIDAVIT. Work in this Section includes all labor, material, equipment, testing, tax, overhead,
and profit necessary to install, construct, and place into service the items described
in this Section to provide a complete and functional system ready for use by the City.
B. The Contractor shall obtain Substantial Completion within 190 calendar days from
the Notice to Proceed, with the Final Completion of all Work within the Contract
Time of 220 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. This shall include all work,
except warranty items, in accordance with the Contract Documents.
C. The Contractor shall commence Work under this Contract on or before 30 calendar
days from the receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
D. The Contractor shall pay liquidated damages of $965.00 for each consecutive
calendar day completion of the Work is delayed in accordance with Section
00800 - General Provisions.
E. Work Included:
1. The Old RAS Pump and Motor Replacement project shall consist of the
following activities:
a. Furnishing and installing two vertical pedestal mount non-clog
centrifugal pumps with associated appurtenances.
b. Furnishing and installing new bolts and rubber gaskets.
c. Demolition and removal of existing steel motor bases, concrete pump
bases, and appurtenances.
d. Construction of new concrete bases for pumps.
e. Startup of system.
2. Contractor shall provide a plug for closing water flow from the wet well.
3. The existing pumps, motors, and concrete shall be disposed of properly by the
