Proposes to llet a Contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, after receiving sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, tools, material, equipment and other things necessary to proved demolition and installation of handicap ramps in Riverside Village. 1. Demolition and removal of the existing ramps and removal and proper disposal of all work debris to a contractor provided location. 2. Provide all materials and install required erosion control as necessary, if any is necessary. 3. Prepare each site according to DOT/ADA requirements. 4. Install concrete as required by the drawings. 5. All Ramps should have matching color and size of pegboards as is currently in the Riverside Community. 6. The contractor will be responsible for creating a safety barrier around each work site to insure that pedestrians do not enter the site locations- The Work will be performed at the following location: Juniper Street, Hickory Street and Cypress Street, Rome, GA 30161. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis or individual item basis, whichever is in the best interest of the County. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after time has been called on the date of opening. Bid Tabulation will be posted online within 24 hrs. following the bid deadline. The County reserves the right to waive compliance by any applicant with any provision contained in this request whenever the County in its sole discretion believes such waiver is in the Countys best interests
