Soliciting construction pipe installation The purpose of this project is to inspect and document the condition of sanitary sewer piping, sanitary sewer manholes, and service laterals for the City of Columbia, South Carolina (hereafter called the "OWNER") and rehabilitate degraded sewer pipe, sewer manholes, and service lateral assets as necessary to restore good system conditions. The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, accessories, and materials required to inspect and rehabilitate sanitary sewer piping, sewer manholes, and service laterals. Manhole work includes making repairs in the interior and on the exterior surfaces of selected manholes; and furnish and install monolithic lining systems in the interior of selected manholes. Pipe rehabilitation technologies such as Cured-In-Place Pipe and Static and/or Pneumatic Pipe Bursting shall be used in conjunction with point repair excavationsto most efficiently restore system conditions with minimal impact to surrounding areas In general terms, the work described includes Gravity Sewer System pipe, manhole, and service lateral inspection, condition documentation, and rehabilitation for the OWNER. The majority of the Gravity Sewer System assets are located within road rights-of-way, OWNER-owned property, or easements owned, leased, or operated by the OWNER.
