As of April 13, 2022, construction is underway. A timeline for completion has not been confirmed. Bids will be received for the following Contracts: Contract No. 1A: Entire removal of existing transfer station building foundations, mechanical and plumbing systems (building from foundations up including building structure, envelope and roof is Additive Bid Item No. 1) and associated site elements, and installation of new pre-engineered metal transfer station building with associated fan ventilation. Site work including new drainage, asphalt/concrete and gravel pavements, scale house trailer, fencing, grading, retaining walls and associated site work. Contract No. 1B: Installation of new trench drains and leachate system and connections to existing municipal sewer system, waterline and sewer connections to scale house trailer and hose bib. Contract No. 1C: Electrical systems for the new pre-engineered metal transfer station building, scale house trailer and scales. Entire removal of existing building electrical systems. Each Bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percentum (5%) of the amount of the Bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof.
