The New York Power Authority (Hereafter, the "Authority" or "NYPA") Invites You to Submit a Proposal to Furnish All Supervision, Labor, Materials and Equipment (Except for Services, Materials and/or Equipment to Be Furnished by Others as Specifically Referred to in the Contract Documents) and Perform All Operations Required to Provide Design/build Services for a Hybrid Exhaust Gas Turbine (EGT) System at Its Gowanus Small Clean Power Plant (SCPP) in Brooklyn, NY. The Contractor shall provide Design/Build services to implement a pilot project at NYPAs Gowanus SCPP for a Hybrid Battery System for NYPA's ten (10) small natural gas fired turbines at NYPA's six (6) sites in the New York City Region and one (1) site in Suffolk County, consistent with NYISO electric system reliability requirements. The SCPPs are all LM6000 Simple Cycle PC Engines. Bidders must have commensurate experience. Further details on qualifications/requirements can be found in the Bid Documents. This contract may be fulfilled by a Subcontract, Joint Venture or Co-Production arrangement.
